Greate shorts but you sent the wrong size

Received the shorts and thought they were a bit big but needed them the following weekend for a bbq, needed a belt to hold them up. Checked today and despite ordering a 36in you sent a 38in waist so no wonder they are so loose. Like the make and have ordered a navy 36 hoping you deliver the right size. I've worn these 38in but can i change them for correct size please
